    I’m sure this is probably on your radar already but you should cover C.L. Moore! She’s super cool and her story The Black God’s Kiss is so weird and trippy. Great imagery. Also she worked with HPL on The Challenge From Beyond.

    I want to recommend a, if not spooky, peculiar story from a woman writer that is in the public domain. It’s “Golden Baby” by Alice Brown.

    The first time I read it I thought it was not very good. But, for some reason, the story kept staying in my brain–so much so that I went back and re-read it. On the surface I don’t think it’s really all that scary. But the more I put myself into the place of the characters on the boat, the more haunting I found the whole notion of this “golden” baby.

    You guys will probably hate it, but give it a read and let me know what you think.
