I've got a question for Chris and Chad. Why are you guys so damned sexy?
Chad's all like, "Oh, you guys wants the Lovecraft? Ok, here you go. We gost some brand new flava' for your ear." And Chris is like, "True, true, we should give them boys n' girls some audio readings too, cuz we sexy like that."
Why so sexy?

The hair from the Uzumaki film and manga was fairly scary. In the manga it descended into silliness and two girls had an epic hair battle, but the film did it justice by making it simply appear ominous, and then letting you imagine how horrible it might be to have your own hair crush you to death against a lamp pole.

...while doing some research on The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath for a review I plan on doing of the 2003 animated version of said story. Wait, what? Is it five hours long and Rated NC-17 for "Persistent Animated Gore Throughout" and "Simulated Animal Maulings?"

A little digging revealed that slime mold isn't really a mold at all, but some kind of bizarre single celled organism that can't make up its mind as to whether it's a plant or an animal. They were originally classified as a fungus, but further study caused contention within the scientific community, which is still debating over slime mold's kingdom and possibly even its domain. Below is an image of the various life stages a slime mold cell goes through. There's the germination stage, slug stage, fruiting stage, and the ever popular sombrero stage. These creatures are thoroughly fascinating, and I for one think we've now found out what evolution had in store for the Elder Things.

Mythos Matters / Cthulhu Entertainment & Gaming / Re: Guillermo del Toro, At the Mountains of Madness

How does one quickly raise $150 million? Is there a piece of paper somewhere that I could sign? Because if I had the money I'd give it to del Toro without a second's hesitation, just like I'd pay to have all of China Mieville's books recorded in audio, and pay to reignite the development of Sadness and the sequel to Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. The Mountains of Madness film is something that just needs to happen, like jelly needed to happen when toast was invented, and I hate that it might not simply because someone who already has more than enough money won't make tons more on the project.
I think greed should be punishable by death, or at the very least a really severe beating.

What the HELL is happening here? That effing pamphlet lied! Crafting tawdry medieval teddies? I'm just here to meet chicks!
*raises hand .... displays wedding ring* *sigh* Doomed to die alone in the black void of despair! I wonder, is there a place where I might go to revel in said cosmic despair? Perhaps a writer who specializes in such a thing? Might there be a group of literary fellows who delve deep into that writer's work? And might there be a forum for discussing the discussions those fellows have about that writer of cosmic terrors in which I could revel? If only such a thing existed . . .
