Is going to go up a day early. I have to redo the opening (want to master up all four openings together, to get them all the same), but otherwise, it's ready to go, so I'll post it either late tonight or early tomorrow.
Will make sure to include a link over here!! Watch this space!

Thanks Julie! The "Direct download" link was malformed, according to my browser, so here it is (again): http://traffic.libsyn.com/nineteennocturne/19Noc_Dunwich_Horror_ep1.mp3

Next episode is next Sunday - but I can post the opener as a teaser... The fourth voice in it is Wizard Whateley.

I began to listen to it, but then, I fainted. There is no greater praise.

Meme, perhaps. Madame Meme, not Mssr. Archetype. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed the thorough heck out of the second installment. It wasn't perfect, it was corny in places, I had a hard time hearing "waffle" used as a verb for "vacillation" in dialogue referencing "the Great War," but certain bits and sections were genius and the overall effect was very enjoyable. I am looking forward to more!

Just assume he's accused Rice of "waffling" in the past about something inoffensive (such as the food in the dining hall at Miskatonic), and as such it's a bit of a private in-joke between them. Then it doesn't intrude. The great war dialogue's primary purpose was to gently remind any listeners less familiar with Lovecraft WHEN precisely the story is set. I tried hard not to make such reminders (or certain repetitiousness from episode to episode) be too obtrusive - balancing those who will listen straight through with those who will listen each week, and might need a few gentle reminders. Next episode includes old Widdah Zebulon!
