I read Neonomicon. I won't say I enjoyed it, but it was definitely interesting. If you're considering reading it, just be warned it's REALLY graphic. Rape and stuff. Fully depicted. To say more would be spoilery.

If you Have read it, check out this video on YouTube that explores how Moore altered reality with the comic itself:

Another comic is The Strange Adventures of H.P. Lovecraft, which I've seen but not read yet.

Wow. I have to say that the guy who did the panel analysis of "Neonomicon" should really find something else to take up his time. Talk about full of crap. How in the world would you even begin to consider the ramifications of the page/panel borders while reading the a comic book? I really think this guy is a frustrated artist with nothing to do but over analyze inconsequential things. And if Alan Moore was trying to mess with our minds by adjusting the panel aspects and ratios within his comic, then yeah, he failed miserably.

I don't think anything I've ever read by Alan Moore could be described as fun or pleasant. ...V for Vendetta (movie was tamer), From Hell, Lost Girls...

Have you read Smax? I mean, it still has off panel rape and horrifying depictions of death and violence, but, in between those parts, it's a pretty fun parody of the fantasy genre.

Well, I just finished Sin City and the first Preacher, so I guess I can take it. I'll keep an eye out.

I have hit the motherload in terms of Lovecraft comics.  Eldritch torrent of Lovecraft comics and unknowable horror.  This is about 200+ comics that runs the gamut, from mainstream superhero stuff to 70's anthology horror to Boom! Studios' books to obscure but wonderful fanzines like Skull Comics and Strange Aeons. There's some miscellaneous things appearing for the first time in cbr/cbz format as well.
