It's an older podcast, started in 2007, continued on & off through 2011 for a total of 44 eps. Essentially it's just old horror radio plays with a min or two of introductory info and an outro. It's on iTunes and has a site http://vintagehorror.com/. Someone recommended it on our Double Shadow forums and I'm loving it. I figured people here might enjoy it too! So far stories have been Poe, Blackwood, M.R. James, Dickens...

[Edit to add: Also Stoker's "The Judge's House" which has rats in its walls!]

Thanks, I love the old radio shows.  I like to listen to podcasts or the old radio dramas when I am working on the house or on long drives.  Btw, great job on YOUR new podcast.   Smiley

I also just discovered The Horror! (Old Time Radio) podcast, but haven't started listening to it yet...but it's much more up-to-date now. Excited about that too.

And thank you!  Cheesy

Just listened to Peter Lorre in The Black Cat and I have to admit the sinister strings and doomed laden announcer probably doesn't give the impression Camel Cigarettes were hoping for in the opening advert.

The Black Mass program on the Pacifica stations in California (KPFA etc.) did a number of Lovecraft tales several decades ago. I bet you can find them if you look around.
