I've been reading "The Ultimate Weird Tales," which seems to be a complete or nearly-complete collection of CAS on Kindle for... free or really cheap, I can't remember. It's full of typos (like "thern" for "them"), and I think the text may have actually come off The Eldritch Dark. But it beats the website because it doesn't shoot radiation into your eyes.

Yeah, I've also been making my own ebooks for each set of stories from the Eldritch Dark site, since the ebooks aren't organized the way we're doing the podcast and...I have experience. But I don't feel comfortable sharing those because I'm not as confident about their public-domainnness.

@Catamount, we really do! I've got the collection of his mythos fic, so I'm ready to read along.

And a Robert Bloch podcast...

Hmm, maybe Chris and Chad will write up what they use (besides Skype) to do the podcasts ?

Hey Ruth, I finally got a chance to listen to Episode 1. Good job. I really like the interplay between your group. The only suggestion I have is that you try to downplay HPL if you can. Considering how much of an influence he was for CAS, he has to be in there, no doubt, but I would kind of let it go at that. Otherwise, great show! I am really looking forward to the next episode, particularly since I have never read any CAS that I know of. Shocked Yeah, I know it's shameful, but there it is. Cry

We're trying to focus more on CAS than HPL...and maybe bring in REH and some others that he worked alongside. It's just tough since the two were so connected. But some of the stories aren't anything like Lovecraft, so I expect he won't get mentioned in those eps.

Yippee! The CAS Zombie Baby is here!

And a Robert Bloch podcast...

If there was a Robert Bloch podcast to add to The Double Shadow, the Podcraft AND A Podcast to the Curious I would never get ANY work done!

The zombie baby has eaten its way out of my womb! Also Phil and Tim's....ok maybe nevermind.

Can you imagine if there was a Howard one too? It'd be the best. Someone get on that.

True. But my commute is staggering the 10-15 feet from my couch to my desk! Smiley

I get that kind of commute one day a week.  Ahh for the good days, when I can work in my jammies.

I don't think I'll update from here on out, but the second episode is up: http://www.thedoubleshadow.com/post/22248969904/the-double-shadow-episode-2-the-end-of-the

And it should be in your iTunes if you subscribed that way (you can find The Double Shadow in the iTunes store or click the above link to get an iTunes link).

I'm already a big fan of the Averoigne cycle. And since it got referenced in "Out of the Aeons," I think that officially makes it part of Lovecraft Country.  Grin

My first exposure to CAS with the D&D module X2 Castle Amber. I have read some of his Zothique stories years ago. I really do enjoy listening to stories. I have to drive half an hour each way to work, and stuff like this is very enjoyable to fill that time.
