Hey all,

Has anyone seen Cabin in the Woods?  I'm surprised, given its content and overall plot, that it hasn't come up here!  I'd love to discuss if people are interested!
(I just didn't want to start spouting away if people haven't seen it and wanted to go in spoiler-free)

I thought it had already. Or I may be thinking of somewhere else. But yeah, nice nod to the Mythos at the end Smiley

Yes, we discussed it heavily in another thread.  I was the negative voice on the Mythos-theme, but I enjoyed the monster-movie parody.  I think I might want to try it again when it hits Netflix to see if I was just sour on the plotline that day.

Usually when I read a synopsis that starts with the words „Five college students go on a trip...“ I stop reading immedeately, throw the magazine to the floor, stomp on it, set it on fire. And then I burn the ashes... Somewhere in between O do something unpleasant with my bearded axe in my study. Same way here. But your talk-on-that-other-thread made me somehow curious. Maye I should take the risk and check that out,  have to wait a few months longer than you anyhow.

I can tell you right now it's definitely not what you're expecting.  That's about all I can tell you though.

If you really want to know, and don't mind having the movie totally spoiled, Moviepooper is your friend.

The description seems a little... silly... but I'm sure it works in context.
