We knew this day would come. We must raise HPL from his astral dream-state and force him to write again. I suppose we'll need one of those brain jars from the Akeley place. Maybe we could hook it up to Siri and HPL could just dictate into an iPhone? I'd be interested to see how Siri would transcribe "Shoggoth" or "Cthulhu."
"The great choo-choo lies dreaming."
"The great cat threw you lies dreaming."
Siri is a real mood-killer.
Seriously though, I'd love a tour of work from authors that influenced HPL and those who were influenced by him. Maybe Chad and Chris could pick an author per podcast, provide a short bio, discuss the connection to HPL, and then cover their choice of a particularly Lovecraftian tale from that author. It would be a nice way to maintain the theme of the podcast while underscoring the tremendous influence HPL has within the genre.

They should do Poe, just so they can call it the EAPoecast.

In all seriousness, I'd like to see them take on the stories mentioned in HPL's "Supernatural Horror in Literature." I'd wager a lot of casual listeners don't even realize how "Lovecraftian" a lot of those works are.
There's actually a podcast for that, but he only does readings. And by "only" I mean I really appreciate it because I've gotten through a lot of Machen with him. But they could do commentary on it, which'd be different.

I think the guys should just go off in a completely different direction and start recording weekly rap battles. No Lovecraftian content, no special focus on literature, just Chad and Chris doing a series of late-'80s freestyle rap battles. Or maybe pit Chris against Andrew Leman, and make Chad the DJ.
Alternatively, I would very much like to hear Andrew read Public Enemy lyrics in the exact same voice and cadence he uses for Lovecraft. I would listen to that every week.

I'm hoping for a ukelele tour of the world. Or failing that, they can get to work on HPL's followers.

I'm not saying you should do Algernon Blackwoods stories, but you should do Algernon Blackwoods stories.
It would be interesting to listen to you analyzing some of the stories that inspired Lovecraft (Blackwoods "The Willows" just being one of them)

This might have legs as well.

The current story is the last of HPL's work to be covered.
However they have hinted they'll be doing something else with the podcast afterwards.

When did the word come down that the podcast was over? What Jape said. They've finished covering every H.P. Lovecraft story. Nothing left but to do a show or two to talk about the end of his life, a show or two to talk about the podcast itself, and after that... well, only Chris and Chad know for sure. They've hinted that there's more to come, either for the HPLLP or another project of some sort, but they haven't revealed what it will be yet.

Here come the brain cylinders and cloning experiments... It's really the only logical next step for this podcast.

To Quebec and the Stars, ... and then ... Algernon Blackwood. "Supernatural Horror in Fiction" seems to be the plan, unfortunately, but this does provide a segue/segway to ... Algernon Blackwood, among others.

I have been listening to the podcast as I've read the stories. It will be interesting to hear the shows on the end of his life. Is this forum staying around?
