Hey, gang. Chad and I are hoping to have the subscription page open this Thursday (Friday morning for the UK) and would like any who are going to subscribe to give it a whirl. We're not giving a broadcast announcement until we have a few people give it a try and make sure it works. So you guys are the first in line, if you're interested.
On a bonus front, we're adding in a 15 minute bonus segment for subscribers tentatively called "Leman's Time Machine." Where Andrew Leman will talk about what's going on during the time of our discussed literature. So the first one with be about the early 1890's, the time where Robert Chambers and Charlotte Gilman wrote the stories we're covering. Should be cool!
We're hoping to do more bonus stuff as time goes on.
Thanks in advance!

Aye aye, I'll put a note in my calendar. And Leman's time machine sounds fun.

I think I've got a paypal person lined up to do it for me, but I can't find the subscription page. Do I need to enable flash or javascript or something? Sorry, I really can't see it.

Yeah, I see a "donate" button, but not a "subscribe" button.

Guess what! We're still working out bugs and things. Please stay tuned as we work through our issues. Site issues. Our personal issues will take years to work through.

Wow, do I ever sympathise with that statement. I wonder if I could write off a punching bag and a stabbing dummy as health care supplies on my taxes? Bob

My correspondent with PayPal clout is about to get skittish, I'm afraid. So far I have an unanswered email where she is all for it, but I am unable to send details, so have not answered. I hope this comes through soon.

Is that anything like a cider press? You can always do it the way public radio does it for now: take pledges and give the secret link out via email to the episode residing at readings.domain.com...

Any WordPress experts around here?
I used to do WordPress consulting as part of my living. Caveat that I sold the business a couple years ago, but I keep a toe in the game...so I might know what you're after.
