So firstly right off the bat, I love Wayne June's readings. I know people complain about his style but to me it is one of the definitive voices i connect with Lovecraft. However, he sounded different here than what I have heard, perhaps its just how he is choosing to perform it but I didn't recognize his rumbling bass voice that I am used to and that creates such an oppressively heavy and eerie environment.
