I think the expression is fairly typical of the age. I have a few books of old pics of  London and I don't think there's a smile amongst them, even the family pics.

The phrase I found odd was "That's the kind of guy I am" lol, seems like a very modern expression. I wonder if HPL has had a bum rap with the social inadequate/misfit lable, he seems to have had a fair sense of humour

i think Ellington is a very nice looking back, especially in a higher-octane offense with shotgun formations & read options. Very good in pass game. When is the draft? Combine will be fun, cant wait.
