Do you guys think an episode on Lovecraft's Supernatural Horror In Literature would be appropriate? I have been flipping through it and it is a really cool essay. On the other hand it is not one of his fiction pieces and may not appeal to everyone.

I think it's a great idea, but that is a very looong essay.  You'd have to break it into parts; I imagine.

I'm sure Chad and Chris can make suitably acerbic comments on Lovecraft's thoughts, even in non-fiction.

I think it's a great idea.  I hope they give it some consideration.

I think it would be too much work for Chad and Chris to wade through all the works mentioned in the essay in order to discuss Lovecraft's positions, although perhaps they have already read them all. I would vote no because it's too much work for too little fun.

Maybe they could get Joshi and/or another guest who have already read and analyzed that work on to discuss the main points with us.

I was thinking it would be a great way to end the series. Stick with the fiction and then tie it off with this AMAZING essay. We'll have to see though.

Whoa... what's this "end the series" talk?  Huh

Frankly, I've been looking forward to listening to you guys for years to come!

Clark Ashton Smith, Arthur Machen, Ambrose Birce, those three or four good stories by Robert Chambers, there is plenty of mateiral for them to continue with.
