All this talk about Chad writing erotica had me wondering; what if HPL wrote some erotica at the beginning of his career to make ends meet...

"The odour [of the fish] was maddening; but I was too much concerned with graver things to mind so slight an evil, and set out boldly for an unknown goal."
-Dagon

"That tenebrousness was indeed a positive quality; for it obscured such parts of the inner walls as ought to have been revealed, and actually burst forth like smoke from its aeon-long imprisonment" - and - "The odour arising from the newly opened depths was intolerable, and at length the quick-eared Hawkins thought he heard a nasty, slopping sound down there."
- The Call of Cthulhu

You know, without getting too disgusting and obscene, I have to point out that if at any time during a sexual act (other than an icthyophail's sex act) if there is any odor of fish, then something is horribly wrong. I'm just say.
