Eric Lofgren, so far he has given me a bunch of Dreamland maps (which a super handy). I'm a latecomer to Lovecraft, so Toren is a great friend to have when I have questions about stuff that's implied "between the lines".

Connecting the dots and filling in the blanks about events that happened during Randolph Carters DreamQuest, while remaining true to the text, has been a fun challenge. HPL left a lot of things very vague.

I definitely agree with the Nyarlathotep tricking Carter into going to Azathoth angle.  I have felt that way since I read this story in 1988.  Nyarlathotep doesn't need a human to make stuff happen, especially in the Dreamlands.

And, comparing great views of Boston vs Providence, I think the "sunset city" is the view of Providence towards the Statehouse from College Hill.
