Hey all. Just wondering what this nifty, spooky track was.

I believe that's Chad's "Ghost Disco" first heard in episode 2: The Tomb. Or maybe it was The Outsider. One of those two. It's also on the soundtrack CD that the guys offered last year.

Thanks, rhors. Must have missed out on that, not that I could afford it anyway. I'll just replay that bit of the episode a million times.  Grin

It was "The Tomb"  the one with the gayest blasphemies of them all.

This category should always be open to field answers to:
1) What music is that?
2) Who's voice was that?
3) Who's that screaming?
4) Who's reciting the necronomicon backwards in latin during that segue there???
etc.  Cheesy

3) Who's that screaming?
Anyone else notice how the scream they always use has become more and more abstract through the episodes? Originally it was a clear female scream, if slightly far away. Then they changed it so it seems to be becoming more hidden, encapsulated, as if stolen away deep underground or something. Very creepy. Even though they use it more than once every episode I love it.

Ok this isn't really about music but anyone like the odd, muted or warped sound segues used after someone makes an otherwise puzzling remark or change of subject?

Like,
Chad: "and that was the first time I wore fishnets in L.A."
Chris: "heheh yeah."
*warped monster gulp*

Haha yeah I love that, always makes me giggle.

Any time the sound effects ever made anyone jump?
Can't remember which episode but they were talking about something not particularly scary when they suddenly used a zapping sound effect and I freaked out a bit lol.

Nothing to make me jump but if you have a 1/2 decent sound system and not use headphones you can get a stereo effect so I might hear something from the show that I at times can't distinguish from outside.  Not saying we have zombies or Cthuoids but slams, bangs, whizzes or wind blowing et al.

The squeaking rat sound effect in the "Rats in the Walls" episode makes me squirm.

I hate rats.

Unrelated to music but since we're covering audio here...

What about those animal noises Chad makes?  "Meow meow meow?" - Ulthar cat.
I think Chris did some kind of bird?

If you guys read this you gotta do more voice effects.
They are HI-larious.

Yeah I love that too. All the production in the show, high and low budget, is great. I never feel like they overdo anything or use anything ineffectively.

Here's what I do on the episode withdrawal.
Make a playlist if you can.  I don't know if you get these on iTunes or just straight from the net.
I have a playlist and put them on "random" and just let them play.
Chances are you don't have every single twist and turn in the casts and they're just as fun the 3rd or 4th time around as I always hear something new each time or re-live my favorite "meow" moments.   Cheesy
