I think the "eating their heads off" bit is in reference to the 'guards' eating each other.  The solution hinted at is keeping them in powdered form.  Kinda... freeze dried minions.  That way, they don't have to be fed.

One of them eats a flashlight.

"The Resurrected" is available on Netflix watch instantly:

Just watched it last night and it was pretty awesome! The main character is John March, who is played by John Terry who also plays Christian Shepard in Lost. Kinda surprised me. Also, Charles Dexter Ward is was Prince Humperdink in the Princess Bride (Chris Sarandon)

Glad to have you guys back. Another great episode!

I'd never read this story before - it was the last great hold out, for some reason (I finally read Dreamquest and Shadow Out of Time last year, and Mountains of Madness the year before). I don't know why I waited this long - this is frickin' awesome stuff. My favorite bits are coming up in part 5. Willet in the dark is just creepy as all get-out.

Also, not to nitpick, but I believe "valise" is pronounced "vah-leese."

Hey, does anyone know the tune being played at the end of episode?  It's very cool and I'd like to obtain the CD or MP3 or what ever format in which it might be available.  Great show.  Thanks guys.
