This is ridiculous. I downloaded it for 4 hours last night and probably RESUMEd it about 26 times, and ended up with 71 MB that came to 8 minutes of audio. I don't even really care. I mean, I like Leman's voice, but it's not crucial, I have the text. I just wanted to be able to upload it somewhere so others could perhaps download it. Anyway, still trying. It keeps going to zero KB/s and I keep restarting it. Eventually I'll win.
How is it going? Sorry, i do not really know how to put in on download...and i do not really have the time to find out right now..sorry !

Thanks for your patience, guys. We're trying to get a mirror set up for the story readings in order to improve download times.
I'm sure it'll lighten up over the weekend.

Yeah, I dl'ed it on Wednesday nigh and it took over an hour. But consider this:
How much bandwidth do you think it takes to move great Cthulhu digitally from here to there?
More than you think...

I've listened to it like three times. Andrew Leman is so freaking good at this.

Not bad at all. I really love when you guys do the readings and this one was right up there in the cream of the crop.

Next time, to keep the load down, you could post an alternate download link on mediafire or sendspace or megaupload. And you could wait a day or two before tweeting it. I think that's where the major downloadage came from, the link on twitter. But no worries, and I didn't really mind waiting, it was just frustrating downloading an incomplete file like ten times in a row. (sendspace is very good and accessible from most computers. All you have to do is upload it there and post the link. It takes about ten minutes total for something like the last reading, depending on your upload speed, and probably a lot less than 10 minutes.) Oh, and I really meant to say THANKS!!!
