Anyone see Inception yet?

I saw the movie for the first time at a friend of mine's house and after watching it I couldn't help but feel some massive Lovecraft mythos vibes radiating from it (or maybe it was the beer making my vision hazy, can't say which).  Without spoiling anything for those who havn't seen it, it's a story of Leonardo Dicaprio's character (Cobb I believe) who is a dream theif of sorts. He and his team swoop in, hook themselves and the intended victim to a machine that injects them with special drugs and off they go into the person's dreams to steal any useful info.  After failing a job he's tasked by the very man he tried to rob to do something thought virtually impossible, to plant an idea into someone's dream.

Althought Hypnos and Nyarlthothep were the last thing on Chris Nolan's mind when he made the movie, just imagine if those two decided to pop their heads (or whatever the equivalent sense organ would be for them) in and give our dream theif a run for his money?

In all, it's a good movie and I highly suggest it. Thoughts?

I saw it while we were going through Dream Quest and really wanted to bring it up, but a lot of the time I keep myself from doing that so that the shows aren't "dated" if somebody listens to them much later.

But yeah - there was so much about it conceptually that related to the "dream logic" that HPL set up in his work - especially the way time moved differently - reminded me a lot of Celephais and so on.
