Y'know who kicked ass? Doug Sarine. His reading of "The Terrible Old Man" is the best part of that episode.

I did some digging and the actor I mentioned earlier - Zadok Allen in Dark Adventure Radio Theater's "Shadow Over Innsmouth" - is Barry Lynch. Apparently he's playing Akeley in The Whisperer in Darkness? Awesome. I'd love to hear him read one of the remaining stories. His voice would be a great fit for the narrator in "The Thing on The Doorstep." (*coughcoughhintcoughcough*)  Grin

Heya...new guy throwin" in 2 cents....one person that I personally would love to have read HPL is Colin Fox.  If any of you picked up or heard the Stephen King audio book of "Stories From Night Shift" then you know who I mean.  The 2 stories on the audio book on cassette are "Jerusalem's Lot", and "I Am The Doorway".  Jerusalem's Lot is a thinly veiled "Rats In The Walls" mixed in with some "Dunwich Horror" and other HPL tales.
Colin Fox, to me, has an awesome voice for horror....the other one he narrated was one of the best audio productions I ever heard IMHO, Clive Barker's dramatized "The Damnation Game"....jumping jelly baby flapjacks I wish I could get that as an mp3!!!  Anyhoo, I think Fox would be a good aural choice.....I know I'd listen...

After listening to this week's episode, I can't help thinking about how awesome it would be to get Robert M. Price to read one. He's got a really friendly voice though, so it would have to be one of the more comedic stories. "The Hound," or "Herbert West," or "Sweet Ermengarde." Yes, I know we've covered all of those. A man can dream, can't he?
