This has the markings of a very funny, (almost Shaun of the Dead feel) creepy film.
I truly want this to be worth watching. I think it did win some awards for indie films or something. But I have watched movies that have won in the past and didn't understand why they were winners.

Agreed. I hope the highlights aren't contained within the trailer. Although, I did chuckle when guy is being chased and he gets winded after about 40 yards...

It was way better than I expected but they could have done better with the awful star spawn creature design.

Agreed, it was straight out Buffy.
Overall I enjoyed it, but I found that some jokes were a little too lowbrow for my taste. Had they went for horror-comedy instead of comedy-horror, I think it would have been better.
