While for the most part I'm not comfortable pimping my crocheted Cthulhus on here, I wanted to post about a project I'm doing right now, since it's for a good cause and I'm not making any money off of it.
Basically, in keeping with the idea of a "relief sale," I'm making and selling weethulhus over a short period and donating anything left over after the PayPal fee and shipping (theoretically $10, but several people have sent me more than I was asking, so that's going too) to either the Red Cross's fund for Japan
or MSF (Doctors Without Borders). MSF doesn't have specific funds for such things, but there's plenty else going on around the world that needs help and I wanted to make it open for people to donate more generally.
So I supply the Cthulhu and people supply the money for donation + shipping/fee. I'm only doing it through the end of this week and crocheting some extras which I'll put up for sale on my blog (not Etsy, so one less fee).
Just thought I'd share in case any of y'all had a hankering for one of my smallest Cthulhus.
