  Was listening to this again at work today, and made me think of the 80’s movie ‘The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension’. Scientist/rock star Peter Weller (aka Robocop) invents a device to allow him to drive his car through the empty space atoms are mostly composed of. Creepy things come back with him and send John Lithgow evil. I think I remember the plot correctly, or perhaps hit my head.

  If the things didn’t disintegrate the servants, what did?

  Are the waves only forcing the senses to develop, or are they also “illuminating?”

  It seems to me that the things did disintegrate them, it was just that the screaming was not because of being disintegrated, but the seeing of such things that snapped the mind and caused the screaming.

  I also think that the device is “illuminating” things and our senses (particularly the pineal gland) develop like muscles that were atrophied and now are being exercised. I don’t think the waves are directly causing the pineal gland to develop ala a “Growth Ray” of some sort.
