I am very much looking forward to episode two of the Werewolf of Paris, a book that I only know of but never read. Oh, and I got a good chuckle of the Ultravox reference regarding Vienna.
Chris, here. I thought for sure that one was going to wizz past everyone. I’m so glad some one caught it! AAAAAAAh VIENNA!
Werewolf month is my least favourite part of the show.
Werewolves are like The Exorcist to me, there’s nothing scary about it. This story is just so cheap, the writer comes across as a real creeper. Seriously off-putting stuff. It makes me appreciate MR James and Le Fanu even more, they could write elegant prose.
Lovecraft had his own cheap stories, the cheesy The Horror in the Museum, but he created his own monsters at least.
