Listening to Chad read portions of the transcripts related to the Senate’s Lovecraft Podcast Hearings, was inspiring! While there is some slight similarity to the cadence of beloved Looney Tunes character Foghorn Leghorn, I was immediately put in mind of Senator Seabright Cooley, as portrayed by Charles Laughton in the film; Advise and Consent.
I urge Chad to continue using this melodic and compelling manner of speaking in future episodes, such as when revisiting stories from the HPL mythos. I’m imagining Wilbur Whateley or Zadok Allen, delivering lines straight from the heart of dixie.
